We toured the Fancy Food Show at the Javits Center in New York on June 28-29. This is the best annual extravaganza of foods from around the world. We enjoy visiting with other importers and distributors — and looking through the Italian “pavillion” for great new products. One highlight was my visit with Antonio Roversi of Azienda del Carmine. While we have now carried his wonderful oils for two harvest years, he is working with a group to make a full selection of Italy’s best available in the U.S.– pasta, manicaretti, and other fabulous tastes!
